Research Interests

I am broadly interested in social-ecological systems and applied conservation research. I am currently researching interactions between Sustainable Development Goals in mountain regions in Bolivia, Tanzania, and Nepal.

My previous research topics have included gold mining and deforestation in Myanmar, biodiversity in oil palm landscapes, and the causes of Pleistocene megafaunal extinctions.
