Regulation of transport processes and identification of transporters with novel functions

Our expertise in the characterization of transport proteins by using heterologous expression systems, i.e. Saccharomyces cerevisiae mutants and Xenopus laevis oocytes for functional analyses, GFP fusion proteins for intracellular localization, and transport assay with isolated protoplasts or vacuoles, allowed us to contribute to determining the properties of favourite transporter(s) of collaborators. Although we can not perform miracles, we try our best to help with such analyses and share our knowledge.
